Applicable fees are as follows:

Tires: $2 per tire

Televisions: $5 per television

Mattresses: $20 per mattress

Committee, Commission, and/or Council members may attend meetings remotely

The City of Babbitt will be hosting it's annual City-Wide Cleanup day on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00-12:00. Dumpster services will be available outside of the Babbitt Police Department for any excess garbage and/or larger garbage items. Additional fees will be collected for mattress, tire, and appliance disposals. Services will be provided as dumpster space allows.

November 3rd- General Election (State, Federal, and Local Offices)

               Absentee Voting opens Friday, September 18th, 2026

Elections will be held at the City of Babbitt Municipal Building in the Council Chambers at 71 South Drive, Babbitt, MN 55706.

CITY HALL WILL BE OPEN SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH AND SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST FROM 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. FOR ABSENTEE VOTING 

CITY HALL WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27TH AND UNTIL 5:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND FOR ABSENTEE VOTING

The City Council will be meeting on Wednesday, September 2nd at 10:30 a.m. to discuss department proposals in establishing the city's Preliminary Budget for 2027.
